FRANCISCAN UNIVERSITY OF STEUBENVILLE
Franciscan University is a Catholic liberal arts university located in Ohio about 50 minutes west of Pittsburgh. Ever mindful of the spirit of St. Francis, Franciscan University takes to heart the divine voice that directed Francis to "rebuild my Church." Toward that end, Franciscan University, founded in 1946 by Franciscan Friars of the Third Order Regular, integrates strong academic programs with a lively faith environment. This attractive combination, plus a low 15:1 student-professor ratio, draws over 2,400 students from all 50 states and over 12 foreign countries.
Students choose from over 35 undergraduate and 7 graduate degree programs. Theology, catechetics, nursing, education, and business administration are among the most popular courses in the curriculum. Its growing science programs are housed in a modern 43,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art science facility.
Those who love travel love Franciscan University's study abroad program in Gaming, Austria, where students study and live in a restored medieval monastery, nestled in the foothills of the Austrian Alps. Both in Austria and in Steubenville, faith households-small groups of male or female students-provide positive peer support and a family-like atmosphere.
Confession, daily Mass, round-the-clock eucharistic adoration, and Festivals of Praise are a few ways students seek ongoing personal conversion in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Other exciting opportunities include a Great Books Honors Program, NCAA Division III sports and an intensely competitive intramural athletics program, active Works of Mercy and Missions of Peace programs, and the country's only Human Life Studies Minor.
Franciscan's goal is to educate and form men and women of hope to be a transforming presence in the Church and the world. Its success in this has led to national recognition from sources including U.S. News & World Report's list of America's Best Colleges, Barron's Best Buys in College Education, and The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College, which characterized Franciscan as "joyfully Catholic."

BALDWIN-WALLACE COLLEGE
When founded in 1845, Baldwin-Wallace College was one of the first colleges to admit students without regard to race or gender. That spirit of inclusiveness has flourished and evolved into a personalized approach to education: one that stresses individual growth as students learn to learn and respond to new ideas. The liberal arts remain as the center of the academic program, but they are augmented by opportunities to explore career options and develop professional skills. B-W's dynamic community of learners includes 3,000 undergraduate day students, 600 adults enrolled in part-time evening and weekend programs and 750 graduates in business and education.
