Cheryl L. Kight, Vice President, Marketing and Public Relations is retiring from The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC) after more than 25 years of service. Cheryl’s last day with OFIC will be February 4, 2011, and marks the retirement of OFIC's longest tenured employee.
Cheryl began her career with OFIC as a consultant in July 1985. She then moved full-time into the Marketing/Public Relations role. Cheryl’s many accomplishments with OFIC include The Evening of Excellence / Hall of Excellence, and CareerFest.
Prior to coming to OFIC Cheryl worked for Nationwide, Chemical Abstracts, Mayor Sensenbrenner, Governor Gilligan and ten years at Ohio Presbyterian Homes.
Cheryl’s future plans include traveling as a “finisher” working with missionaries, and a host of activities including genealogy, teaching, and videography.
We are thankful to Cheryl for her many years of service and support of OFIC, its members and the nearly 100,000 students they serve. We wish her all the best in her retirement!
